The news has been shared by a tipster and was first spotted by Android Pure. Sadly, there is no information regarding the hardware of the phone. It only reveals that Samsung is working on a project that has been code-named as Baikal.
— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) February 13, 2017 Well, the name might create confusion in most of the people, but let me clear you Baikal is a lake situated in southern Siberia which is also considered to be the deepest lake in the world. So, the code name would suggest that Samsung intends to implement some features. To avoid Note 8 from overheating, Samsung is said to source batteries for the Note 8 from rival LG. Apart from these, the phone is expected to feature a 4K display and Bixby AI Assistant. The phone is supposed to have the latest chipset and improved S Pen Stylus features. We will get to see the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 in the second half of the year, which is at least 5-6 months from now. So, it will be the bit too early to say anything for certain. Recently, DJ Koh, Mobile Chief at Samsung stated: “I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8.” So, what do you think about this? Share your thoughts in the comment box below.
